About the Artist

Robyn Leigh

After years of dedicating myself to caring for others, I’m stepping into a vibrant new chapter, a journey rooted in discovery, creation, and soulful expression. With deep gratitude, I reflect on the teachings of Erica Helder, whose expertise in alcohol inks has been truly transformative.

I found not only a new artistic language but also a renewed sense of creative freedom. The insight, encouragement, and mentorship have shaped my work and spirit in ways I will carry with me always. Now, I’ve found a space where imagination has no limits. I continue to work with resin, alcohol inks, and mixed media, and am now learning the ancient art of encaustic painting. The fusion of wax and alcohol inks opens a portal into a dance of control and surrender, guided by intuition and heart.

My art is a reflection of memory, emotions, and transformation. Each piece is a conversation between color, texture. Through these works, I aim to evoke the familiar ache of nostalgia, the hush of healing, and the wonder of what’s yet to be discovered.

My studio is more than just a place to create. It’s a sanctuary for exploration, where joy, stillness, grief, and beauty all have a seat at the table. I celebrate not just technique but truth, the kind that emerges when we allow ourselves to be fully seen in the work we do.

I invite you to step into my world, where every piece tells a story of where I’ve been, what I’ve carried, and where I’m headed next.
